KISS OR KILL (1/?)
The sounds of the band followed Willow into the streets. She breathed in much needed air, thankful to leave the Bronze and her well meaning friends behind. She was relieved that Buffy had trusted her enough to walk home alone. She was so in need of some peace and quiet. She began to head North, making sure no one was around that looked undead. Things had actually been rather quiet since Angel had lost his soul. The only problems Buffy had really had had been Angelus.
Willow felt so sorry for her friend. She knew Buffy still loved Angel. It must be terrible to see her lover's face on a cold blooded killer. She wondered if the slayer would ever be able to fight Angelus or if he would be the death of the slayer. She hated to see Angel killed but she knew in her heart that he was no longer the same man she had known. So much had changed in such a short time. She frowned thinking about all the variety of things that had happened.
First and most importantly had been Buffy's loss of virginity. After that, they had learned that Miss Calendar wasn't who she said she was. Then she'd almost been killed by Angelus. Xander and Cordelia had started dating. That, in her mind, rated right up there with almost dying. Now, Oz had left her. She shook her head. Not really left her. They had just been dating a few times. Nothing much. But, she had seen him kissing a sophomore in school that day. He hadn't even been brave enough to tell her. She knew in her heart that he must have been using her due to his wolfie problem. She really hated being used.
She had expected it though. No one ever wanted her. Even at the Bronze, it was always Cordelia and Buffy that got the looks and the requests for dances. She was always ignored. She sometimes thought that she could walk into the Bronze wearing a towel and no one would even notice. She just wasn't attractive that way. Brains over beauty. Not that she really minded. She'd rather be smart than pretty. She had to witness what Cordelia went through. Surprisingly, the brunette was actually rather smart. But, no one could accept brains and beauty, so Cordy chose to be the beauty. Willow couldn't imagine living a life like that.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?"
Willow looked up, her eyes widening. Good grief. She'd been so absorbed in her thoughts, that she hadn't noticed her surroundings. "Spike."
He smiled smugly, "You know me, pet? I must say, I don't think I've had the pleasure."
"Uh...we haven't been officially introduced" Willow sputtered, kicking herself mentally for that asinane comment. Sorry Mr Spike, but as you've tried to kill us you never learned my name. Duh, Willow. Be smart.
Spike looked at the pretty redhead and almost smiled. Her emotions were clearly outlined on her face. She was arguing with herself. He stretched, thankful his damn sire had taken off for a few days with Drusilla. It was nice to be out and acting normal for a time. Of course, he couldn't let the bastard know he was walking. He wasn't that strong yet. Damn randy slayer had to fuck the bloody wanker. Go and ruin his unlife, she did. Suddenly, he remembered, "The slayer's shadow."
Willow felt a spark of irritation, "The name is Willow. Are you going to kill me or bore me to death?"
Spike laughed. She was spunky. He liked that. He felt his cock harden as he looked at her. Red hair, fire in her eyes, slender form, firm breasts. Pretty little thing. He could smell her innocence. He wondered if she would be that sassy in his bed. He smiled suddenly, a desire to play going through him. It had been awhile since he had had any fun. Who better than the slaye'r's little friend? While Angelus was away, he could play...no one would be the wiser. Besides, he really wanted to fuck the girl. "Well, Red. If you insist, I could kill you. But, I was thinking I'd much rather kiss you. Up to you though, pet. What shall it be? Your decision. Kiss or kill?"
